Membership Terms and Conditions

Regular membership of the IAP-Australasian Division is open to anatomical pathologists with Fellowship in Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) as well as pathologist-in-training in anatomical pathology in Australasia for the Fellowship.

Associate Membership of the IAP-Australasian Division is open if you fit into one of the following criteria.
• Medical Student or medical Science Student
• Pathologist in training in training centres not recognised by the RCPA
• Medical resident
• Member from other relevant medical specialties
• Pathologist outside Australasia.

(Associate members are entitled to notice of General Meetings but not entitled to vote nor be eligible to hold office as a member of the Board)

Application to membership to the Australasian Division of the International Academy of Pathology can be made by downloading the New_Member_Application_Form, completing it and submitting to the IAP office.

Members of the IAP-Australasian Division will gain access to passworded areas of this website, as well as other benefits that come with the membership.

All Membership applications are subject to approval by the division’s executive committee. If the Membership application is not approved, the amount debited for Membership fee will be fully refunded to the applicant.

Refund Policy

Membership lasts for one year and is non-refundable once approved by the Committee and processed by the office.

The Australasian Division of the International Academy of Pathology understands and appreciates that you are concerned about your privacy and about the confidentiality and security of information we may gain about you and we are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect your details for the purposes of Membership management and Member notifications. We do not share your personal details with any other organisations.

Member Passwords

In order to protect the privacy of your membership log-in information, you must take reasonable steps to ensure that your password is not disclosed to any other person or compromised in any way and ensure that you are logged out each time you leave your device. You should regularly change your website password and in setting a password you should use a combination of letters (upper and lower case), numbers and special characters.
